The founder of Paradigm Law Offices, Brad Lusher, has been practicing law for over twenty five years, primarily in the technology industry. He has significant experience both in law firms and in corporate law departments.
Mr. Lusher founded Paradigm Law Offices in 2010. He is a results oriented, business savvy lawyer who can offer his clients the benefit of his extensive experience at very cost effective rates.
From 1997 to 2010, Brad Lusher held various senior roles in corporate legal departments in the Silicon Valley. He supported multiple business functions including sales (direct and channel), business and corporate development, strategic alliances, online activities, product marketing and engineering, and professional services and procurement.
Between 1990 and 1997, he worked in leading private law firms.
Blue Coat Systems
Brad Lusher was Director & Senior Managing Counsel at Blue Coat, a provider of network security systems located in Sunnyvale, California. In his role at Blue Coat, he negotiated multiple reseller agreements with strategic partners such as Verizon and Dell, representing over $30 million in potential revenue. He supported the company’s anti-virus product offerings by closing numerous inbound software licensing transactions with major vendors Symantec and Trend Micro. Mr. Lusher was also significantly involved in business development activities and supported the company’s real estate activities.
Mr. Lusher was Assistant General Counsel at Spansion LLC, a semiconductor company located in Sunnyvale, California. Spansion’s primary customers were very large international manufacturers of mobile phones. He was responsible for legal support for sales, inbound technology licensing, procurement, business development, strategic alliances, real estate, and equipment leasing. Brad Lusher negotiated and closed hardware sales agreements with major OEMs including Motorola and Nokia representing over $400 million in annual revenue. He also closed strategic licensing agreements with major customers such as Sony, Sharp, and Samsung.
Brad Lusher was Senior Corporate Counsel at Adobe, a diversified software company located in San Jose, California. During his nine years with Adobe, he was the lead attorney for professional services, partner programs and technical support for Adobe’s enterprise software business. In this role, he managed a team of attorneys and paralegals supporting over $100 million in annual revenue. Mr. Lusher provided the sole domestic and international legal support for development of Adobe’s primary online property, www.adobe.com.
Mr. Lusher implemented business rules for a variety of online activities including inbound and outbound affiliate relationships, e-commerce, infrastructure, data privacy (including E.U. Safe Harbor registration) and customer/site issues. He was also engaged in corporate and business development activities and various acquisitions, divestitures, and partnering relationships. Brad Lusher supported numerous product launches to ensure that key technology was procured, outside development was completed, partners were engaged, and marketing materials were reviewed for a timely launch of Adobe products.
Fenwick & West
Mr. Lusher was an associate at Fenwick & West, a prominent Silicon Valley firm. He worked in the corporate department where he was involved in over twenty change-of-control transactions, numerous venture capital financings on behalf of venture capital firms and entrepreneurs, IPOs, asset sales and private placements. He also created license agreements and other commercial contracts for the firm’s clients. Representative clients were Symantec, Intuit and Veritas.

Mr. Lusher obtained his law degree from Georgetown Law Center in 1990, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and finance and worked as a financial analyst for several years.
